Dialnex PBX Direct-to-PSAP 911 Call Routing Solution

All Dialnex PBX deployments include government-mandated E911/VoIP 911 support, which routes emergency calls to an intermediary operator. This operator verifies the caller’s location before forwarding the call to the local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for dispatch of ambulance, fire, or police services.

While this method ensures compliance and accurate location identification, some clients prefer the fastest possible emergency response times by routing 911 calls directly to the local PSAP, bypassing the E911 intermediary.

With the Dialnex PBX Direct-to-PSAP Solution, this can be achieved using a Grandstream HT813 ATA connected to an independent analog voice line. Through custom call path programming on the Dialnex PBX, any 911 call from a PBX phone extension can be automatically routed to this analog line. This eliminates dependence on internet access (VNA or Alt Access) and the E911 operator, ensuring direct, immediate emergency call handling.
